Philip started at a small radio station in Palm Desert California covering High School sports for Team 1010 KXPS AM radio. At the same time, Philip was pursuing his degree in Mass Communication  at a local community college. Thankfully for Philip the community college he was attending was preparing to remove its Mass Communications degree program so he was given a choice: A. Transfer to a University, or B. Pick another degree and remain in the Coachella Valley like so many of his former classmates did. So after about 3 seconds of consideration and one google search of "top Sports Management programs"  Philip chose to transfer to a Grand Canyon University! At GCU, Philip took a job with GCUTV covering Division 1 sports for the Lopes while also attending the University to gain that degree his mom said was "very important". For 2 and a half years Philip enjoyed working at GCUTV gaining more experience in Play by Play as well as more experience in front and behind of the camera. In April of 2019 after almost 6 years of going to college, Philip finally graduated with a Bachelors in Sports Management and several thousand dollars in student loan debt. Not soon after that Philip joined the team here at Elevation5280Sports.com hosting A Sports Show and could not be happier with where his career is headed. You can listen to A Sports Show every Thursday and Sunday right here on Elevation5280Sports.com and hear all of his opinions on sports and then frustratingly tweet at him when you don't agree!
